Today there are over half a million people living with Lymphoma. In the United States, Lymphoma incidences are on the rise as other cancers decline. Over 60,000 people will be diagnosed this year with Hodgkin's or Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma with an overall survival rate of only 50%. This grant will play an important role in the ongoing race to improve treatment as part of the Lymphoma Research Foundation's Research Program that is focused on finding a cure for this devastating disease.
The LRF is the nation's largest lymphoma-focused voluntary health organization devoted exclusively to funding research to cure all lymphomas and providing patients and healthcare professionals with critical information on the disease. LRF's mission is to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by the disease. For more information please visit LRF’s website at www.lymphoma.org
